This is a mint condition Ty beanie baby named in honor of Ronald Reagan. Its name is "Ronnie." This Ty beanie baby originated in 2003 and all Ty profits from the original sale were donated to the Navy League of the United States, Santa Barbara Council " to support those serving our nation throughout the world. " The bear is a soft gray in color and wears a white sailor hat, a white navy collar with a navy blue knotted tie. His chest has an embroidered emblem that reads- "USS Ronald Reagan CVN76" which I believe is the name of the Navy ship that bears his name and was christened by Nancy Reagan in 2003. The emblem has a gold embroidered anchor on it with US NL stitched on it. The saying inside the Ty tag reads, "As you sail out on your way, In our hearts you'll always stay And Because you're brave and true This special bear is just for YOU!" How appropriate is this saying right now at the passing of Ronald Reagan. This is a great commemorative collectible to have of our former President.
