This is a delightful, limited edtion lenticular motion cel card of Pinocchio made by Willits as part of the Disney Showcase Collection. It was part of a nine card set.
Only 1000 of these nine card lenticular sets were produced under license of the Walt Disney Co. It was made in the late l990's and is in mint condition.
This is the one card of Pinocchio.
The card is encased in acrylic. It measures approx. 6" wide, 3 1/4" tall and 1/4" thick.

If you are unfamiliar with a lenticular, it is a series of still frames (as with animation) which are arranged together so that when the frame is tilted, it appears to be a complete animated sequence. Take a look at my pictures to see a few of the changes that take place with Pinocchio. My pictures don't do justice to the ever changing Pinocchio as you tilt the lenticular.
On the front of the lenticular, the name of the movie, "Pinocchio" has been printed. In addition, you have Pinocchio with the help of the mini cels looking in amazement as his nose grows everytime he tells a lie to the Blue Fairy.
On the back side of the lenticular, you get a brief printed overview of the movie.
This is a wonderful collectible to have. It is fun for both adults and children. If you love Disney and Pinocchio, you need to add this to your collection!!
