This is one of the few Tinker Bell photos that really tells the whole story.  It truly is a collectible piece of Disney history!  (Note that the photo is very clear in person.  I am still need lots of work on my photographic skills!)

  • This is a wonderful 8” by 10” photo depicting the creation of  the animated Tinker Bell that has been autographed (original autograph, not a copy) by Margaret Kerry, the original reference model for Tinker Bell.  ( She is a personal friend of mine.)
  • A live reference model for Tinker Bell was needed, and after auditioning for the job Margaret Kerry was selected.
  • She worked on an empty soundstage improvising scenes for the spunky sprite. They filmed her pantomimed actions. The film was then given to animators who drew Tink’s antics based on her work.  You see her improvising in number “one” in the photo.
  • Marc Davis, a Disney legend, was the man who designed the animated, tiny Tinker Bell. ( Of course, James Barrie was the original creator of Tink.)
  • Marc directed Margaret by working with his storyboards for Tink’s actions. That’s Marc in photo number “two”.   When Marc was satisfied with a scene, he would call “Print it” to the camera crew. That’s how her acting and dancing became famous as Tink’s actions.
  • Photo number “three” shows how the animators took Margaret's work and brought it to the screen.  So… it’s “One, two, three, it’s me!”
  • Margaret has autographed the photo with her name, Margaret Kerry, and then beneath that written “Tinker Bell”.
  • You also get a little description underneath each of the three photos as to what is going on.
  • The photo has been framed in a quality, classic black frame with rust-colored accents that enhance the photo and pick up some of the colors in it. (NOTE:  This frame may occasionally be out of stock since I am selling more than one of these autographed photos.  If that is the case you will be notified and a frame of equal or greater quality will be substituted with your approval.)

Don't miss out on this great piece of Disney history!
