This is a wonderful 8" by 10" photo of Disney's Jiminy Cricket that has been autographed (original autograph, not a copy) by the voice of Jiminy Cricket, Eddie Carroll.
In this delightful photo, Eddie has written "Hey Folks, It's Me Jiminy Cricket and His Voice, Eddie Carroll."
The photo is framed in a quality carmel-color frame with an inside border of a darker brown. It truly enhances the photo. (The photo is much clearer in person. My photo skills need improvement.)
The photo comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Eddie was not the voice of Jiminy in the original Disney classic, "Pinocchio". He took over in 1973 upon the death of Cliff Edwards, the first voice of Jiminy.
Disney has called upon Eddie on a regular basis over the last 30 years to be the voice of Jiminy. You'd be surprised how often Jiminy's voice is used by Disney. Jiminy is one of the few Disney animated characters to speak in a normal human voice (Remember, he had to speak sensibly, he was the conscience for Pinocchio!)
What makes this photo even more special is that Eddie is an accomplished actor with many credits to his name. He is currently touring the country doing a one-man show about Jack Benny and has been given a lot of recognition for his wonderful performance, including The Golden Mike Award for Entertainment Excellence and the Preservation of Broadcast History.
