This is an old history book written for boys and girls in 1899 by Edward S. Ellis,the noted writer for young people. It is entitled, The Life Story of Admiral Dewey, The Hero of Manila Bay. It is illustrated with eight-color lithographs and beautiful half-tone engravings. The cover is worn and the binding is somewhat weak but it is still intact. The pages are yellowed with age, but otherwise are in great condition. The book measures 7 14" by 9 3/4" and is 244 pages long.
