This is an 8" by 10" double-matted, autographed photo of astronaut Scott Carpenter and his six other fellow astronauts. This is an original autograph, not a copy. I obtained it on June 3, 2006 in London, England at a collector's show. I provide a certificate of authenticity signed by me. It is double-matted in black and white with an acid-free backing board behind the photo to protect it.
Scott is shown with his fellow astronauts Gordon Cooper, John Glenn, Gus Grissom, Wally Schirra, Alan Shepard and Deke Slayton. They were all selected for Project Mercury by Nasa in l959 and are known as the "Mercury Seven."
