This is an old medical textbook, advanced grade, published in l908. It was written by Frank Overton, A.M., M.D., late house surgeon to the City Hospital, New York . It was published by the Amercan Book Company. The full name of the book is: Applied Pschology including The Effects of Alcohol and Narcotics. Its cover is worn from age and the pages are somewhat brown with a few small stains from age but the binding is still in good shape and otherwise it is in very good condition. It looks like the previous owner had written a little on the inside two front pages, and on the back cover, but had erased it . You can't see it really, other then some smudges. Otherwise, the book is clean. It measures about 7 3/8" by 5 1/2" and has 448 pages, including the index.
If you like medical history, this would be a great book to have. A lot has changed in the last 100 years!!!!
