This is a brand new, limited edition porcelain doll with wings sitting on a paper mache 24" tall swan ( a peachy-pink color) as part of the Florence Maranuk Collection. The doll is named "Sweetheart" and she sits on the swan, although she is a separate piece. It is number 148 of 2000 made and comes with a certificate of authenticity from the company who made it. The doll originally sold retail for twice what I am asking for it.
The doll itself is 26" tall and is jointed so the head, arms and legs can be positioned. The lovely face is hand-painted and the eye lashes are not painted on but are actual hair of some kind. Her eyes are a lovely violet color and her hair is dark brown. She is holding a wand in her hand with chiffon tassels on the end of it. The doll is not 100% porcelain. The face, neck and part of chest, hands and part of her arms, her feet and part of her legs are porcelain and the rest has a soft body feel to it. She is wearing a peach velvet dress and pantaloons with chiffon material accents in pale green and beige. Thedress is accented with flowers and ribbons in burgundy, peachy-pink, pale lime green and gold colors . She has rose petals in her hair and has beautiful wings made of chiffon (I believe) with other material color accents and flowers that attach with velcro so you can enjoy the doll with or without wings.
This truly is a lovely, quality doll. She was a Doll Awards of Excellence Nominee. You won't be disappointed!
