This is a framed Rudolph Valentino reproduction movie poster from the 1926 movie, "The Son of The Sheik. " It was the last film that Valentino was to make. The poster itself ( at least the image showing) measures 14" by 22 !/2". The frame is 22 1/4" by 28". The gold metal frame is distinctive in itself. The handpainted glass has a gold and black design around the edges and says, "Premier Showing" on it. The frame dates back to l979. I am not sure of the age of the poster. Both frame and poster are in very good condition. It looks like the poster was folded at one time and if you look really closely you can see the fold lines. They are very faint and are not really noticeable unless you are looking for them. The gold metal around the frame is in very good shape with the exception of a few scratches at the top . It is a dramatic piece and really is a great piece of movie memorabilia from the days of silent movies.
